What do I get for the Camp Price of 790 €?
The price includes all services written and explained on the main
Camp site. Roughly said: 6 nights accomodation in 3-bed rooms from Sunday to Saturady including full board catering, 5 days lift ticket, 5 full days coaching and all officially organised Camp program.
What is not included in the Price?
You are responsible to organise your travels and bring your snowboarding equipment (board, binding, boots and clothes). Besides that: all services that are not apperently written on this page.
What´s the Camp price, when I already have a lift ticket?
We do offer a special prices, if you already own a lift ticket for any of our resorts, depending on each Camp location. Please inform us up front and we will get back to you.
Is there a package without housing?
The Camp especially stands for its community feeling on- and off snow during the whole week. To get to know each other, the housing plays a big role within the whole Camp program. We do not offer extra housing rates.
Is there a difference between the Camps besides the dates & locations?
Each Camp has its special flavour depending on the resort, lodging and surrounding facilities. The general on-snow happenings will be quite equal, but every Camp is different on its own. For more information see the

1b." Buddy Joins " offer
What can I except from the Buddy Joins offer?
The NTSC welcomes all snowboarders, women and men, girls and boys that are interested in joining a great week of snowboarding. The basic idea behind the concept is, to improve your riding within a fun week together in group.
If you prefer to spend spend your time on the hill under your own preferences, you can book this offering.
"Buddy joins" does not include any guided on-snow actions and riding is under your own responsibility.
What's the Price of this offer?
The buddy offer does cost 650€ per Camp.
It does work under the same Terms & Conditions as the "Happy go lucky" offer, except what's written above.

2. Booking
How does the booking work?
Please fill out the
booking form and submit it via our online booking latest 3 weeks ahead of each Camp. More details about booking and payment, you will find in the General Terms below. The booking becomes legally binding, once we have sent you a written confirmation of your Camp spot including your invoice via e-mail.
When will my participation be confirmed?
Your participation will be confirmend, after your reservation payment reached our account within least 5-7 days after you received the invoice. More details below in Gerenal Terms.
Please note: foreign transfers can take up to 5 working days!
When is the booking deadline?
Due to housing confrimations and binding reservations, the booking deadline is 4 weeks ahead of each specific Camp. Bookings that arrive later than that, can only be considered under specific requirements and written inquiries.

What is the avarage age of the participants?
The average age is 23 years. Combined from a wide mix between 16 and 55 years.
We do welcome young riders equal as the grown up generation. Before you might worry about feeling "too old" for the Camp, check out the team page, especially the one of Organiser Nicola Thost...right, you are only as old as you feel like.
3. Payment
How do I have to pay?
You have to transfer the reservation- and Camp fee to the banc account written on your invoice. More details below in General Terms.
Can I also pay cash at the Camp?
Cash payments are not possible. To secure your spot at the Camp the transfer needs to be completed before the Camps starts. Otherwise we have to fill your spot with the next girl on our waiting list.
What happens if there is no snow at all?
The weather is the only thing, we can not plan unfortunately -
we will inform ahead in case there is any changes to the dates ect.
Dio I get a refund, íf I have to drop out of the Camp during the week?
Anyone who has to drop out of the Camp during camp week due to illness or accident will recieve a refund only for those costs that are not charged to us, depending from individual cases.
4. Participants & Snowboarding
How good do I need to snowboard for the Camp?
Nicola Thost SnowCamps are designed for "step by step freestyle progression" - meaning: within the coaching program we concentrate on supporting the improvement of freeriding and freestyle skills from level 1 to expert.
Being secure while riding down a slope including board control is a fundamental basis to take part in one of our groups.
If you just passed your first snowboarding lesson and would like to join us for a Camp, we can not guarantee full service coaching.
What riding levels are taught in the Camp?
In general we cater all kinds of riding levels, once you fullfil the needs written above.We defined the following groups, which are not necessarily conclusive...
They are supposed to help us building well-fitting groups for the camp week and support you to find your own category easier. If you can not identify with any of the groups/listings below, don't hesitate to write us an email via our contact form.
1 "I never tried before..."
You already have good experience on snow and you are able to ride down slopes and do turns confidently.
You are most interested in completing your basic technique in riding.
You would like to experience the first steps into freestyle basics, but the whole riding experience itself is your major concern.
2 "I enjoy little jumps over bumps..."
You might be snowboarding conveniently for many years already in various terrains.
You are thrilled to get into learning some slope tricks (jibbing) as basics to enter the park in the right time.
You do not really feel comfortable with build up freestyle parks, since until now, you didn't know what to start with.
3 "I like to session parky once in a while..."
You can ride switch and know that “Ollie” isn´t only a guys name
You had your first tries in the park (rails / kicker or just one of them)
You would like to get more comfortable and confident in estimating what you are capable of in the whole freestyle arena.
4 "Kickers, Rails or halfpipes are my hood!"
You feel comfortable in any kind of terrain and snow conditions. You like to jump off anything you can find.
You like to spin and / or ride boxes, rails or hips, even with other than straight airs only.
You are searching for the certain "click" and take on the challenge to see how far you can get.
What level is the typical Participant?
Most of the girls on the Nicola Thost SnowCamps are on the beginner freestyle level.
Is it possible for complete beginners to come to the Camp?
We recommend the Camps especially for everyone who already knows the basics of snowboarding. Whoever wants to join the Camps, being a beginner, we can not guarantee any specific coaching. pleas advice us if this case might be relevant for you.
5. Coaching
What is the coaching like?
We developed a special program with our certificated snowboard teachers. We will have small groups regarding the riding level.
With Video analyses and our workshops about material, tuning and snowboarding safety we create best conditions for maximum fun and progression.
Due to international participants the classes are hold in English. Basic to good English knowledge is an advantage.
Are there different groups such as powder- and park-groups?
There will be a bit of everything depending on the preferences in the group and the snow conditions.
Is the coaching more technique, freeride or freestyle?
The week starts with a little technique introduction on snow before ew move into some freestyle moves. As well depending on the group levels and snow conditions.
How long is the coaching every day?
We coach 2 hours in the morning (approx. 10.00 - 12.00) and 2 hours after lunch (approx. 13.00 – 15.00). After that there is free riding time for everyone. All program is optional, but of course recommended to get the best fun out of th Camp week.
Is it possible to participate at the Camp and all its offerings/activities except the Coaching?
We do one extra offering for your: in case you like to join all the Camp offerings listed above except the Coaching & Video Analyzes - check out our NEW "Buddy joins" program.
6. Housing
Is there a package without housing?
The Camp especially stands for its community feeling on and off snow during the whole week. To get to know each other, the Team and the girls the housing plays a big role within the whole program. We do not we offer extra housing rates.
What time does the Camp start on Sunday?
We will meet in the afternoon between 16:00 and 17:00 on Sunday.
What time is checking out on Saturday?
The Camp ends after breakfast on Saturday.
7. Food & Drinks
What is included in the Camp price?
Breakfast and dinner at the restaurant and lunch at the mountain restaurant.
Breakfast: Breakfast Buffet with a variety of delicious, international breakfast
ingredients incl. coffee, tea and juices.
Lunch: One meal of your choice in value of approx. 8 € incl. one 0,3l drink and tap
water(beside Livigno due to hygienic regulations).
Dinner: In most of the hotels you have a 3 course menu incl. salad/soup, main
course and dessert. The dinner is incl. tap water*. Other drinks are not included.
I am Vegetarian/ I have a food allergy - will the accommodation cater for this?
The Nicola Thost SnowCamps are fully catered, please check the details on the Campsites and notify any special requests in the booking form.
8. Travel
Is there a chance for pick up from the closest train stations/airport?
You should get in contact with the other girls in the forum of our website.
There you will find for sure a way to get together for easy travels.
Is it possible to arrive earlier / depart later to the Camps?
If you arrive earlier, you have to organize an accommodationon your own.
9. Material
Do I have to bring my own Snowboard equipment?
Yes, you will have to bring your own snowboard equipment.
If you don´t have own equipment, we will help you in providing you with local rental stores contacts.
Can I rent a helmet?
We do have a limited number of protection gear for rental, including helmets and crash pants in different sizes.
10. Safety + Insurance
Do I need an insurance?
Yes. PLease read thorugh the
Insurance Waiver before you sign up your submission.
What happens if I get sick/ hurt myself?
In case a participant needs medical support, she will be transported to the next hospital. Parents/relatives will be notified immediately from the Camp management.
Do I get my money back when I get hurt and can not longer take part in the Camp?
Anyone who has to drop out of the Camp during camp week due to illness or accident will recieve a refund only for those costs that are not charged to us, depending from individual cases.
11. General Terms & Conditions of Nicola Thost SnowCamps 2008
1 Insurance
Participation at the camp is on your own risk and responsibility. There is no general Insurance coverage through the organizer. Every participant must have a private liability & health insurance policy. We recommend rechecking whether insurance is sufficient for abroad travels and whether search & rescue costs are covered.
We suggest that each participant is wearing a helmet as well as a back-protector. Claim for damages of all kind are not possible. Participants will be held responsible for any stolen items.
2 Booking
Requirements for booking of Nicola Thost SnowCamps are: suitable age, level of fitness and riding skills (see details above).
Booking needs to be sent in via online booking from. Personal data must be valid including a properly working email account. Otherwise participation won’t be possible.
The booking becomes legally binding, once we have sent you a written confirmation of your Camp spot including your invoice via e-mail.
3 Payment
Payment must reach our account as written on the invoice.
Please note: foreign transfers can take up to 5-7 working days! We do suggest to send us an informal wire confirmation, once you’ve done the payment.
3.1.Payment due reservation fee
Reservation fee of 100€ is due immediately after you received the invoice. Your Camp spot is valid, as soon as the reservation fee reaches our account. You will get a notification from us via e-mail, once the wire is completed.
If we do not receive any payment within least 7 working days after sending out the invoice, your booking will be canceled and you have to register again.There will be no extra notification.
3.2. Payment due for the rest of Camp fee
Rest amount of Camp fee is due latest 3 weeks ahead of each Camp-start.
Please follow the details written on your invoice.
4 Cancellation
Cancellation is possible free of charge latest until 22 days before camp-start only with written explanation.
Following costs will occur later than this time:
Cancellation 21 days before camp-start: 100 € handling fee
Cancellation 20 to 15 days before camp-start: 20% of the Camp Price
Cancellation 14 to 10 days before camp-start: 50% of the Camp Price
Cancellation later than 10 days before camp-start: 100% of the Camp Price
The withdrawing participant can nominate a replacement participant free of charge. Name, address, etc. of the replacement participant have to be communicated in written latest 10 days before camp-start.
Any participant who has to drop out of the Camp during Camp week due to illness or accident will receive a refund only for those costs that are not charged to us.
